The plan was to just put three flowers in a pack... But three isn't fun enough.  I always need more.  I'm looking at this thinking now I need some digi leaves... Maybe out of matching fabrics or denim.  Oh!  I just had a great idea for a trim.  I hate having great ideas when I don't have time to do them right away.

These frames were boring until I mounted them on denim.  It turns out that not only is denim ideal with work boots, it can jazz and country up scrapbook pages.  Who knew?  I have a sheet of free denim digi paper in the GrannyEnchanted.Com paper directory. If you check out the elements directory (PNG directory) under trims you'll find some lace trims that would look great with denim too. Red polka dots also look fabulous with blue denim.

Free Kit 36 Pack 3 Digi Scrapbook Frames- and a tomato juice recipe ;)

I am just killing myself with this number for a kit name.  Sigh. I need to at least try to be more creative.  Totally off the topic of lame digi kit names... my mother made bottle after bottle after bottle of vegetable juice.  We have a storage room full.  At first it sounds kind of gross, except I like V8 juice and it actually trumps V8 juice.  Then we discovered I can crumble sausage into it with some pasta and have the easiest minestrone I've ever made. Ingredients for the juice: 8 quarts of tomatoes(Why yes, we did plant way too many tomatoes last year... AGAIN!  You'd think we'd learn.), one large onion, one large green pepper, 1/3 of a 4 oz can of jalapenos, 12 tablespoons of lemon juice, 3 tablespoons of salt and 4 minced cloves of garlic. Puree, juice and water bath pack like a jar of tomatoes.  Hmmm, I'm looking at my fluffy pack of frames here, thinking it doesn't really match tomatoes at all.

I've made so many kits I have to number them now.  How unromantic could I get?  Did I ever tell you about my dream job?  I want to work at Sears Roebuck, sitting behind a huge mahogany desk.  Imagine the smell of my hoity leather swivel chair as you walk into my office with that off-pink towel.  You adjust your glasses (in my daydreams you all have glasses) and hold out the towel, asking, "Mrs. Johnson, what color will we call this?"  

     I will straighten my bun, tap my freshly painted nails on my desk (freshly painted because I don't have much to do all day except paint my nails), and I'll declare triumphantly, "Sunrise Blush."  I'll be immortal because for the rest of eternity that shade will be called sunrise blush! (Okay, as if... but I can dream can't I?)

4 Free Cow and Star Pink and Purple Digi Scrapbook Papers

I used to make "Holy Cows" for a local craft shop.  It's hard to sew that soft golden fabric for the wings, but the halos were a breeze.  Thankfully the local fabric store had cow fabric in spades.  Though if they hadn't I'm sure a permanent marker would have done the trick on some broadcloth.  I should dig up the pattern I made and put it online.  I'm sure, somewhere out there, there must be somebody who is sitting around thinking... wish I had a cow angel pattern today.

Free Rusty Digi Scrapbook Frames and Star Scatter

I forgot to zip my terms of use into this one.  Here they are.  I have been wishing for a rusty star scatter for a long time.  I made a yellow star scatter the other day and had that light-bulb-over-my-head moment.  I'm too lazy to make a rusty star scatter, but I just needed to put the rust on top of the yellow scatter and cut the yellow scatter shape out of the rust.  Voila!  Not even rocket science.

4 Free Rusty Digi Scrapbook Frames

All of these frame shapes are from the cookie cutter tool in my Photoshop Elements 10.  I love that tool.  Its like a digi Cricut machine.  Tons of shapes to choose from.  But since I scrapbook, my favorite shapes are usually the frames. I'm sure I'm under-using the program.  However, my frames look great thanks to Adobe.

You know what gets me?  I'm sure one day, out on the prairie, there was a beautiful cowgirl chawing on a long piece of straw, leaning against a rotted wooden post, hair fluttering in the wind.  She probably looked down when a tumbleweed hit the barbed wire trailing off the post... and that was when it happened, when the first, glorious,dawning realization came to her.  That rusty old barbed wire would look great in a wreath on her front door.  Of course, it spread from there to hinges and doorknobs.  It's still spreading.  Goodness.  It's even here in frames and digi shapes.  While I can't promise you barbed wire, I will hint that there's a gorgeous little chicken wire kit for free in the Granny Enchanted Free Kit directory.

Did I tell you how much I'm loving the Photoshop Elements file I made for flowers?  I just pop the paper under the shadow and button, cut the flower shape out and voila... flower.  Why didn't I think of this last year?  I'm looking at this red polka flower on the denim, thinking that just needs to be a whole kit of possibilities. Don't you agree?  Most of these matching papers are available and free at GrannyEnchanted.Com.  You'll find them in the directories. I say most because as of right now that green isn't uploaded anywhere.  However, there is a fetching free lime green polka in my paper directory.

I was surfing through digi scrap sites the other day and saw background papers.  How cool was that? Stuff I didn't have to put in place myself.  So I gave it a whirl.  It will look nice on boy pages, autumn pages, or Halloween pages. Some of these dotted papers are available for free at GrannyEnchanted.Com in the paper directory. The others, I'm sorry to say, don't really exist.   I just fiddled with colors once I'd made the 2 toned template.  You'll forgive me if I give you these for free, right?

Free Floral digi Scrapbook Hearts and Trim

I hope you click the preview image to enlarge this so you can see how cute the heart trim turned out!  I'm tickled with it.  It is 12 inches long-ish and 300 pixels per inch.  These papers are free in my GrannyEnchanted.Com directories.  The floral paper on the far right isn't there.  It comes from a paper that is in the directories in Darker autumn tones. I just lightened it.
