Free Horse Digi Scrapbook Papers

Someone out there loves horses, right?  Happy new horse paper!  I ghosted these horses a little and faded them to soften the look of the print.

Free Cow and Star Digi Scrapbook Flag Trim

These flag trims turned out cuter than I had thought they would.  I left a wee little star floating above the blue flag trim.

Free Cow Jumped Over The Moon Digi Scrapbook Papers

If one cow was good, I thought a cow repeated would be better. I was right.  This set of papers Could be considered perfect Halloween-star paper or Happy-new-baby paper.... It's almost perfect for baby, except the black paper is begging to be a wizard's hat.

Free The Cow Jumped Over the Moon Digi Scrapbook Brads

I'm not sure what it is about Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes that makes me want to quilt and sew. They make me crave the touch of pastel fleece.  A fun gift to give a new mother is a little 5x7 Print with their baby's name, weight, height, and birth date and time.  It is so inexpensive to print.

Free Girl Dragon Digi Scrapbook Elements and Papers

Holly wanted a girl dragon.  If Holly told me to jump off a bridge, I would.  She picked the colors.  I made a few quick 12 x 12 inch papers to match.  Enjoy!

Free Girl Dragon Digi Scrapbook Elements and Papers 19190

I love this dragon!  I found it at PrintActivities.Com.  I had to change it to make a happy dragon but it was so cute.  You'll find tons of gorgeous graphics and coloring  pages on their site.  I highly recommend it.

Free Cow Jumping Over the Moon Digi Scrapbook Nursery Rhyme Elements

Turns out that by making enough circle and oval outlines in Photoshop Elements 10 you can make a cow!  I just combined my layers, erased a few lines, and made new fill layers with colors and voila: "MOO."  Okay, it wasn't that easy.  I did some shading and texturing... and a tutorial would take longer than saying, "You just..."  Nevertheless, I present my first Digi Scrapbook Heffer. Enjoy!  This has 3 elements: Jumping Cow, Star Scatter, and Moon in Cloud. (Yes, I know the eyes are crooked... supposed to be charming.)

Free Brown Tan Digi Scrapbook Brads

How is your brad collection?  I use my brads as a center for flowers, a tack for banners, a tack for labels and tags, and even as a scatter.  I've used them as journaling backgrounds. I've used them as a backdrop for letters on titles.  I'll never get enough brads.

Free Brown and Tan Curvy Digi Scrapbook Frames

I like fun and crooked things on my pages.  I often put everything on a page tidy and beautiful but I can guarantee you before I click "save" I'm going to tilt something.  I want it to look like I had fun while I was scrapping.

Free Blue and Tan Digi Scrapbook Flag Banners

I'm not exactly sure when in my life I stopped associating flag banners with car sales lots and starting thinking of them as part of scrapbook pages.  I'm lazy.  If I wasn't lazy the flags would alternate prints.  But hey, lazy is lookin' pretty good, isn't it?

Free Blue and Tan Print Digi Scrapbook Flowers with Wood Buttons

OH!  I figured out a template to make patterned flowers! Yes! Yes! Yes!  Okay, maybe it isn't huge to you, but as a digi scrap supplier it makes my life so much easier.  I wish I would have come up with it sooner. Okay, no looking back.  From here on out it is going to rain flowers!  I thought these were cute layered on top of each other, making a fuller flower by twisting one flower a little.

Free Blue and Tan Digi Scrapbook Heart PNG Elements

Of course, you'll find the matching papers to these freebies in the paper directory at GrannyEnchanted.Com. Might I suggest that you don't forget white.  It is often too forgotten.  My sister-in-law stopped at my house one day with a patterned napkin and said, "I love this.  I need a kit."  She's a photographer and makes wonderful collages with my supplies.  I made her a simple kit of bright colors and polka dots, wondering how she was going to use them together.  She emailed me the finished invitation she made.  Wow!  White!  It made all the other colors pop.  It looked great. Since then I haven't been afraid to leave a little blank whiteness on my digi pages.

Free Tan and Blue Oval Digi Scrapbook Frames

A basic collection of frames is a must for any digi scrapper.  I highly suggest you organize your digi supplies so you can see what you have.  Do you have a large selection of pastels?  Autumn colors? Bright colors?  You'll want a little bit of everything in a wide range of colors so you don't have to stop scrapbooking momentum to go find what you're looking for.  In my files I call elements Trinkets.  Under trinkets I have a file of each type of element: stars, brads, trims, ribbons, bows, characters, frames, journal papers, tags, buttons, birds... the list goes on.  But it's fantastic because when I'm scrapping I can pop open a file and see every single brad I have at one time.  It makes it so easy for me to throw a page together. HAPPY SCRAPPING!

4 Free Blue Tan Digi Scrapbook Brads

I love to shrink a variety of brads down and create a scatter effect on my pages, the messier the better.  Over the past year I've learned so much about digi-scrappers.  Some of you like flat images with clean lines. Some of you like more dimensional images.  Some of you like a natural look. Some of you like the ease of quick pages. And some of you will always prefer to make it from scratch.

The papers that match this freebie come in a free paper pack that can be found in the free paper directory at GrannyEnchanted.Com

Free Tan and Blue Digi Scrapbook Printed Stars

I think we'll need some hearts in this one too... Maybe some animals and characters.  This is perfect for those baby boy pages, and even little girl pages. At first, I only had the stars on here and started thinking about the trim. I was just going to make you make a trim yourself, but finally decided I'd go the extra mile and make it for you.  It will look good repeating across a page at the midline, the top or bottom. You can find this free paper pack in the GrannyEnchanted.Com Free Paper Directory.

Free Elf and Digi Scrapbook Pine Trees

I always have Christmas to scrapbook... and wouldn't it be nice if I could finish last Christmas before this Christmas so we could remember last year on Christmas day?  I guess we'll see if that will EVER happen.  I think I'm 3 years behind.  Now, if I were you, (I'm not saying I'd ever be that attractive), I'd head over to the GrannyEnchanted.Com Bulb and Sphere Directory for some ornaments, the Star Directory for a star, and the Paper Directory, where you'll find the matching papers.

Free Shabby Rectangle 2 Digi Scrapbook Frames

I've been drinking a smoothie every morning for breakfast.  I actually get a little grumpy if I miss it.  That's a huge thing because I'm seldom grumpy.  We buy the cheap mushy bananas, squash them flat in a snack bag, and freeze them (This way they freeze flat and can stack in a tidy pile in the freezer).  In the morning I have 1 frozen banana, 1/3 cup of uncooked regular rolled oats, 1/2 cup of orange juice, 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 to 1 cup of fresh spinach, and a splash of vanilla blended together.  It has been a wonderful meal replacement while I lose weight.  I'm using MyFitnessPal.Com to lose weight and it is working like a charm.  I like it much more than WeightWatchers.Com.

Free Shabby Digi Scrapbook Rectangle Frames

This video was so awesome. I think about stuff like this all the time. There is no woman, or man for that matter that can choose 100% what they look like, yet we make decisions about them based on their looks, some look kind, some look severe, some look stupid, some look smart, short, tall, thin, fat, ugly, pretty (You can't tell me you've never met a pretty who was ugly inside, some are and I testify there are plenty of uglies that are beautiful inside too)... and a lot of the time we miss who they are because of what they look like on the outside. I really started thinking about it a few weeks ago when we took our scruffy dog in for her haircut. She came out a beauty that could have strutted her stuff down the street with Zsa Zsa Gabor and nobody would have doubted she was a star... and I had been treating her like a rag-a-muff mutt until then. The way I treated her completely changed because of her temporary beauty. It was then that I started to wonder, who else's beauty I was missing because I was looking at them with my eyes and not my heart. Lesson from a dog (or Dustin Hoffman) #284.

I pulled my almost 8 year old daughter out of bed this morning and set her on my lap.  She was still dozy and warm.  Wrapping my arms around her, I rocked back and forth memorizing the moment.  This is the last day she'll be this big. Tomorrow she'll be bigger.  I'm going to enjoy every minute of today.  That's what a scrapbook is for.  Tomorrow I'll remember today, the last day I had with her when she was this big.

Free Shabby Digi Scrapbook Scalloped Trims

I was looking around our home yesterday, thinking of decorating.  I've been greedily grabbing every catalog from my mailbox looking at curtains.  But then it occurred to me as I looked at the clutter from our puppy and our children... You know what the best decorating would be?  To clean it.... That should be the cheapest way to decorate it too.  Really, when I see new drapes as the backdrop for the Great-Lego-Explosion of August 2012... Are they going to look that good?

Free Shabby Digi Scrapbook Brads

My husband reads to my children each night.  We've read the Harry Potter seriesSeries of Unfortunate EventsThe Great Brain series (By far my favorite), the Fablehaven Series (loved it), the Percy Jackson seriesThe HobbitThe Narnia seriesThe Tapestry series... and so many more.  I notice my children are all writers. They're well spoken, and we're a pretty tight knit family... Could it be from the sitting together enthralled by the same story night after night? I'm thinking YeS!

Free Shabby Digi Scrapbook Flag Trims

Did I ever tell you about the time my son put purple glue stick goo all over his fingers, dressed up in his  Halloween Spiderman costume and tried to climb the walls?  It took me hours to figure out what all the gooey purple globs were from. Free Shabby Stars Digi Scrapbook Supply

As I was making these stars today I was thinking about my troubles.  But you know, I started thinking of stars and staring up at a diamond blanket of night sky.  I remembered how small that made me feel. Suddenly I was a tiny speck on a little planet.  Of course, you couldn't stare at the stars very long without awe swelling up inside of you for our Creator, the Creator of the cosmos. And even this morning, though it isn't night, just thinking of stars made my problems seem tiny. It helped me take my gratitude out of my pocket so I could shine it up and remember the God of all is watching over little old me.
