Did I ever tell you about the time my son put purple glue stick goo all over his fingers, dressed up in his Halloween Spiderman costume and tried to climb the walls? It took me hours to figure out what all the gooey purple globs were from.

ReplyDeleteThat sounds like something my son would have done, had he thought of it! What a hoot! My daughter was 3 years older, and when i was pregnant with boy-child, a friend told me that if i had a boy, i'd always know where he was. i thought that was odd until he was two years old and then the mouth noises started - everything he played with had to have sound effects! i knew then the difference between boys and girls... that, and climbing walls (or in my son's case, the roof of the house..." Yeah, i know exactly what boys do to turn their mother's hair prematurely gray! thanks for the banner flags!
ReplyDeleteHis glue phase was when he was seven or so. Oh, the mouth noises. My son is eleven now and they're still going. I'm having visions of a grown man sitting in church, making puttering pick up truck sounds. Sigh.
