Free Shabby Digi Scrapbook Rectangle Frames

I pulled my almost 8 year old daughter out of bed this morning and set her on my lap.  She was still dozy and warm.  Wrapping my arms around her, I rocked back and forth memorizing the moment.  This is the last day she'll be this big. Tomorrow she'll be bigger.  I'm going to enjoy every minute of today.  That's what a scrapbook is for.  Tomorrow I'll remember today, the last day I had with her when she was this big.

Free Shabby Digi Scrapbook Scalloped Trims

I was looking around our home yesterday, thinking of decorating.  I've been greedily grabbing every catalog from my mailbox looking at curtains.  But then it occurred to me as I looked at the clutter from our puppy and our children... You know what the best decorating would be?  To clean it.... That should be the cheapest way to decorate it too.  Really, when I see new drapes as the backdrop for the Great-Lego-Explosion of August 2012... Are they going to look that good?

Free Shabby Digi Scrapbook Brads

My husband reads to my children each night.  We've read the Harry Potter series, Series of Unfortunate Events, The Great Brain series (By far my favorite), the Fablehaven Series (loved it), the Percy Jackson series, The Hobbit, The Narnia series, The Tapestry series... and so many more.  I notice my children are all writers. They're well spoken, and we're a pretty tight knit family... Could it be from the sitting together enthralled by the same story night after night? I'm thinking YeS!

Free Shabby Digi Scrapbook Flag Trims

Did I ever tell you about the time my son put purple glue stick goo all over his fingers, dressed up in his  Halloween Spiderman costume and tried to climb the walls?  It took me hours to figure out what all the gooey purple globs were from.

All of these papers are available at GrannyEnchanted.Com.  You'll find them in the free papers directories.

Free Shabby Stars Digi Scrapbook Supply

As I was making these stars today I was thinking about my troubles.  But you know, I started thinking of stars and staring up at a diamond blanket of night sky.  I remembered how small that made me feel. Suddenly I was a tiny speck on a little planet.  Of course, you couldn't stare at the stars very long without awe swelling up inside of you for our Creator, the Creator of the cosmos. And even this morning, though it isn't night, just thinking of stars made my problems seem tiny. It helped me take my gratitude out of my pocket so I could shine it up and remember the God of all is watching over little old me.

Terms of Use

GrannyEnchanted.Com Terms of Use
SnipSnapScrap.Blogspot.Com Terms of Use
7-5-2013

My kits will be labeled in one or more of the following ways:

Personal Use (PU) – A kit labeled with PU is for personal use. This means you may use it for all kinds of layouts, and upload your creations in galleries on the Internet, and for other graphic projects for your personal use.

Scrap for Hire (S4H) – A kit labeled with ‘Scrap for Hire’ is not just for personal use but also to scrap for someone else. For example: someone hires you to create a layout for her with the kit you have in your stock. You may create unique layouts for a customer. This means that you are also allowed to create notebooks, cards, and other items with the provided graphics. If Granny Enchanted kits are labeled S4H you may sell/redistribute quick pages, clusters, and crafts made from my kits. Check with other designers before you do this with their S4H products.

Commercial Use (CU) – Products labeled as CU or ‘Commercial Use’ may be used for commercial projects. You may create (with my CU items) a new element or new papers and resell them.

*** You are not allowed to resell my designs without changing them first into your own creations*** Make them into clusters, quick pages, paper stacks… but don’t resell the files as they were when you acquired them. Don't just rename a file and resell it. With a PSD file/template, changing colors, merging layers, and reselling the resulting PNG or JPG file would be acceptable.

Some of my older work is not labeled. If this is the case you may assume it is CU/PU/S4H according to the terms above.  ~http://grannyenchanted.com/

Oh, you may need this:

Dear Wal-Mart or department store photo clerk, I give ______________permission to print
their creations using GrannyEnchanted.Com images.

~Sheryl C.S. Johnson Owner of GrannyEnchanted.Com

This is my arm candy for 15 years and father of my children, Ben.  You'd think I'd scrapbook the picture but  I am (don't tell everyone) the worst scrapbooker ever.  Ironic isn't it??? This picture was taken by Holly's Hobby's (yes that's how you spell it) Photography.

***Here is my recent response to some Designers who wanted to use my creations***
Basically if there is a flower or item that is mine, I don't want it sold because they can get it for free or buy it on my sites.  Now, if you take the flower and stick it with something else to make a new png or jpg file (like a cluster) then it is something else and can be sold -even if all the ingredients are Granny Enchanted- because now it is a new item. Same thing with party sets, if it's a square granny paper but you change it into a triangle banner then that's fine to sell. I love credit any time I can get it.  I love page views because I make a pittance in sales but much more in advertising, which depends on page views. I'd love to see people using my things to create new products they can sell and supplement their incomes.

About Me

About ME

      Sheryl_johnson

If you Google me you'll find:
Sheryl C. S. Johnson hales from West Jordan, Utah, where she loved sleeping in the backyard with her mother and counting stars. She graduated from Westminster College with a degree in finance, during which time she converted to the Church. She owns the digital scrapbook website GrannyEnchanted.com and loves writing fiction. She now lives with her favorite people in a wind tunnel, where she is blown back and forth between Ute and Cougar fans.

And you'll find my first book (an L.D.S. romance):
Table For Two

You might even find my blog... the one I'm terrible about writing in:

"Happiness is a choice made moment by moment, thought by thought. It is as elusive as a butterfly if you chase it and as certain as a sunrise if you choose it." ~ Sheryl C.S. Johnson

I am a Mormon. I am a Mormon because I prayed about the promise in the Book of Mormon:

"Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.
And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.
And whatsoever thing is good is just and true; wherefore, nothing that is good denieth the Christ, but acknowledgeth that he is.
And ye may know that he is, by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore I would exhort you that ye deny not the power of God; for he worketh by power, according to the faith of the children of men, the same today and tomorrow, and forever."

After the prayer I received an undeniable witness.  It didn't come from missionaries, a preacher or a friend. It came from God and in a way that I cannot, nor will I ever, deny that Jesus Christ's church is restored on the earth and organized as it was when He was first here before His Resurrection.

If you Google me you might even find:

Because I love making digi scrapbook supplies.
I'm a terrible scrapbooker though.  I'm having too much fun making paper.

I created GrannyEnchanted.Com because I was visiting digi scrapbook blogs and they had no directories.  I wished, oh, how I wished that I could see everything they had to offer.  Instead I had to settle for clicking "older post" again and again and again.  And after a while all the links expired.  What the world needed was a digi scrapbook source with directories and freebies that didn't expire. VOILA! A Granny was born.  I'm not a real granny, but my Grandma Barbara, who passed away in 1997, was ENCHANTING. Someday I'll be a granny and I hope to be just as enchanting as she was.

And this blog is my simple blog...my fun blog...my not so organized blog.  Everyone should have one! This is my "like everyone else's blog" blog.

Here's the blinkie:

And I even got tired of saying this so I made a button of it:

When I grow up I'm going to ask Google why they don't just have that instruction on their Docs page.
